Glastonbury Hope

And will the morning linnet song
Lift heart and hope as I step on?
The badger’s mist strewn orchard trail
Might lead him down through Glastonvale
Displacing cobwebs dew bedecked
To rinse his fur all wheatgrass flecked
And I in tramping merriment
Continue on with light intent
Exploring dell and mighty Tor
In wake of pilgrim folk of yore
With soul that might return renewed
And spirit with fresh truth imbued
